Body Contouring

EndoliftX®

BODY CONTOURING

Reduce Stubborn Fat, Tighten the Skin, and Refine Areas Where Exercise Alone May Not Be Enough

Some areas may still appear less defined despite a balanced diet and regular exercise. This is because the concern may involve more than localized fat—skin laxity, fibrous bands, and cellulite can also contribute to uneven texture and poorly defined contours.

EndoliftX® Body Contouring is an Italian laser treatment designed to address these concerns together through the concept of:

Fat Reduction + Skin Tightening + Body Definition

By delivering laser energy directly beneath the skin, the treatment helps reduce localized fat, improve firmness, and refine body contours without major surgery.

The program includes:

  1. Lipolaser MAX®: Suitable for body areas with localized fat and skin laxity, including the upper arms, abdomen, waist, thighs, and hips.
  2. Lipolaser X®: Suitable for smaller areas that require greater precision, such as under-chin fat or a double chin.

What is

PROGRAM
BODY CONTOURING

EndoliftX® Body Contouring is a minimally invasive contouring procedure. During treatment, the physician inserts a Micro Optical Fiber—a hair-thin optical fiber—beneath the skin to deliver 1470 nm diode laser energy directly to the targeted fat and tissue.

The laser energy helps address localized fat, reduce cellulite, promote tissue contraction, and stimulate new collagen production. The program therefore focuses on more than simply “reducing fat”—it also considers the smoothness, firmness, and overall shape of the treated area.

Unlike technologies that deliver energy externally through the skin, the Micro Optical Fiber delivers laser energy directly beneath the skin in the targeted area. This allows the physician to treat smaller or difficult-to-reach areas with precision without making large surgical incisions.

How Does EndoliftX® Body Contouring Work?

Smooth Cellulite

Smooth Cellulite

In suitable candidates, the fine optical fiber allows the physician to address fibrous bands beneath the skin while delivering energy to the superficial fat layer. This may help reduce the appearance of dimpling and make the treated area look smoother.

Reduce Stubborn Fat

Reduce Stubborn Fat

The laser energy targets localized fat in areas deemed suitable by the physician. The body then gradually processes the fat affected by the energy through its natural mechanisms.

Tighten the Skin

Tighten the Skin

Heat generated by the laser promotes tissue contraction beneath the skin while stimulating the production and reorganization of collagen. Over time, the skin may appear firmer, tighter, and smoother.

Define the Body

Define the Body

The Micro Optical Fiber enables the physician to plan each treatment in detail—determining where fat should be reduced, which areas require greater tightening, and which contours should be preserved to maintain natural balance.

Results

Immediately After Treatment

Tissue contraction begins as soon as the energy is delivered, so changes in firmness and contour in the treated area may already be visible right after treatment. Results continue to develop more clearly as swelling subsides.

During the First 3–7 Days

Mild to moderate swelling, bruising, tightness, or tenderness beneath the skin may occur. The extent of these effects depends on the treatment area, fat volume, technique, and individual response.

Within 2–4 Weeks

Body contours become more defined and the skin appears firmer and tighter, while the body continues processing the treated fat and ongoing collagen production continues.

Within 3–6 Months

Results continue to become clearer, involving fat reduction, firmness, and skin smoothness, giving the treated area a more defined and refined shape.

Long Term

Results can last long term. Maintaining a stable weight, exercising regularly, and proper self-care can help sustain the results over time.

Results continue to develop after treatment. The clarity and timeline of change depend on fat volume, skin quality, age, lifestyle, and each individual’s aftercare.

Is One Treatment Session Enough?

Case 1

For Suitable Levels of Localized Fat and Skin Laxity

When localized fat volume is not significant, one session is often sufficient. This depends on each patient’s goals, satisfaction, and the physician’s assessment.

Fat cells affected by the treatment do not return in the same cells. However, new fat accumulation can occur with weight gain, so maintaining results with diet control and regular exercise is recommended.

Case 2

For Thicker Fat Layers or Greater Skin Laxity

The physician will assess whether additional treatment or another procedure should be combined, to achieve results suited to each person's contours and skin condition.

Fat cells affected by the treatment do not return in the same cells, but the overall result still depends on weight stability, exercise, diet control, and aftercare.

How Is EndoliftX® Body Contouring Different from Liposuction?

EndoliftX® Body Contouring

EndoliftX® Body Contouring

  • Suitable for reducing localized fat and refining specific areas
  • Addresses fat, firmness, and skin smoothness together
  • Can treat smaller or difficult-to-reach areas with precision using a Micro Optical Fiber
  • Does not involve large surgical incisions
  • Uses local anesthesia in the treatment area
  • Requires less downtime, allowing a quicker return to daily activities
  • Avoids the risks of general anesthesia and its side effects
  • Results become clearer at around 6 months when paired with a suitable lifestyle
Conventional Liposuction

Conventional Liposuction

  • Suitable for larger areas with a greater amount of fat
  • Primarily focused on reducing fat volume
  • Suitable for fat deposits spread across a wider area
  • Involves incisions or entry points for surgical instruments
  • May involve local anesthesia, sedation, or general anesthesia, depending on the extent of treatment
  • Requires a longer recovery period, depending on the treatment area and the amount of fat removed
  • Changes in fat volume become visible once swelling subsides

Both approaches have different strengths and indications. EndoliftX® is suitable for those who want to reduce localized fat while improving firmness and refining contours, whereas liposuction is better suited to removing a larger volume of fat. The most appropriate option should be chosen based on fat volume, skin quality, and the physician’s assessment.

Tips! EndoliftX® Body Contouring

The heart of EndoliftX® Body Contouring is designing balanced proportions, not simply removing fat. It is about planning fat reduction, firmness, and fine contouring together to suit each person's shape.

The physician will assess fat-layer thickness, skin quality and elasticity, and the position of fibrous bands to determine the appropriate treatment pathway and energy level, helping the treated area look more defined, firm, and natural.

  • Where fat should be reduced
  • Where greater tightening is needed
  • And which contours should be preserved to keep the shape balanced and natural

A thorough assessment of fat-layer thickness, skin quality and elasticity, and the position of fibrous bands is therefore essential before treatment, to determine the Micro Optical Fiber pathway and energy level suited to each area and each individual.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

A: Yes. EndoliftX® can be used to address cellulite by working on both the fibrous tissue beneath the skin and the superficial fat layer. This can help reduce the appearance of uneven or dimpled skin, improve skin smoothness, and promote greater firmness over time. Results vary depending on the severity of cellulite, skin quality, and individual tissue structure.

A: Yes, particularly when the depression, asymmetry, or uneven skin surface is associated with fibrous tissue or irregularities within the subcutaneous fat layer. This may include changes following surgery, previous localized fat-reduction procedures, or changes in the skin and fat layer after pregnancy. The physician will assess the location and depth of the fibrous tissue, the characteristics of the affected area, and overall skin quality before designing an appropriate treatment plan.

A: An assessment for EndoliftX® can generally be considered approximately 1–3 months after childbirth. The treatment may be used to address both skin laxity and localized fat accumulation in the abdominal area. Before treatment, the physician will evaluate postpartum recovery, breastfeeding status, overall health, and the condition of the abdominal tissues in order to determine the most appropriate timing for each individual.

A: Yes, when the size or contour of the chest is related to localized fat accumulation. EndoliftX® allows the physician to work with small, targeted areas that require precision, including localized chest fat in men and selected areas of fat accumulation around the female chest. Before treatment, the physician will assess whether the concern is primarily related to fat, breast tissue, or another anatomical structure in order to determine whether EndoliftX® is appropriate.

A: Before the procedure, local anesthesia is administered to reduce discomfort. During treatment, patients may experience sensations of pressure, warmth, or tightness beneath the skin. The level of sensation varies depending on the treatment area, the size of the area being treated, and individual sensitivity.

A: Changes can be observed following the first treatment, and for individuals with an appropriate degree of localized fat or skin laxity, a single session may provide noticeable improvement. Results continue to develop progressively after treatment, including changes in body contour, skin firmness, and skin smoothness. The degree of improvement depends on the amount of fat, skin quality, and individual response to treatment.

A: Repeat treatment is not necessary for every patient. The physician will first evaluate the results of the initial treatment, particularly over the following 3–6 months, when changes related to fat reduction and collagen remodeling become more apparent. For individuals with a thicker fat layer, more significant skin laxity, or multiple treatment areas, additional treatment may be planned according to the condition of the tissues and the individual's treatment goals.

A: Swelling, bruising, tightness, or tenderness beneath the skin may occur during the initial recovery period. These symptoms gradually improve as the tissues recover. The duration of swelling varies depending on the treatment area, the size of the area treated, the amount of fat, the treatment technique, and individual healing response. The physician will provide appropriate aftercare instructions to support recovery.

A: EndoliftX® Body Contouring is not a weight-loss treatment. It is designed to address localized fat deposits, improve body contour, and enhance skin firmness and smoothness. It is therefore most suitable for individuals whose body weight is relatively stable but who continue to have localized fat deposits or skin laxity that may not be sufficiently improved through diet and exercise alone.

A: The results can be maintained over the long term. Fat cells affected by the treatment are reduced, while collagen stimulation continues to support gradual improvements in skin firmness and tightness after the procedure. However, if body weight increases, the remaining fat cells can enlarge, and new fat accumulation may occur in either the treated area or other areas of the body. Maintaining a stable weight, exercising regularly, and following a healthy lifestyle can help preserve the results.

A: Patients should follow the physician's aftercare instructions carefully. Strenuous physical activity and intense exercise should be avoided during the initial recovery period, and the treated area should be cared for according to the specific recommendations provided. Follow-up appointments are recommended to monitor recovery and assess the progression of the results. If unusual symptoms occur, such as excessive pain, swelling, or any symptoms that differ from those explained during the post-treatment consultation, the clinic or treating physician should be contacted promptly.
